On December 12, 2024, at the Grand Rex in Paris, the conference "James Bond and the Law" was held, organized by Ally Avocats with CEIPI.
Through two round tables—Law in James Bond and Law around James Bond—academics, lawyers, and professionals analyzed the major legal themes raised by the saga: emerging technologies, deepfakes, civil liability, criminal law, patent law, trademark law, influence, music, biographies, and intellectual property.
The conference continued with a screening of the film Goldfinger, as part of an evening dedicated to the intersection between popular culture and legal analysis.
